SISTEM OTOMATIS PENGENDALIAN RUANGAN BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN ESP32 UNTUK EFISIENSI ENERGI RUANG PERKULIAHAN

Teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) memiliki peran yang begitu penting untuk mendukung efisiensi energi di lingkungan kampus. Setiap ruang perkuliahan, biasanya terdapat banyak perangkat listrik seperti lampu dan AC yang sering beroperasi di luar jam penggunaan, dan mengakibatkan pemborosan energi yang signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem otomatis ruangan atau Smart Room Controller berbasis web yang memungkinkan pengendalian perangkat secara manual, otomatis melalui penjadwalan, serta pemantauan status secara real-time. Sistem yang dibangun menggunakan perangkat mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai pengendali utama, penyimpanan jadwal berbasis SPIFFS, komunikasi WebSocket, dan dashboard web yang dapat diakses tanpa aplikasi tambahan. Dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur utama berjalan dengan baik, dengan waktu respons kontrol manual rata-rata <300 ms dan pembaruan status real-time <200 ms. Penjadwalan otomatis mencatat tingkat keberhasilan 96,7% dan penyimpanan jadwal bersifat persisten setelah restart perangkat. Evaluasi konsumsi energi pada ruang kuliah menunjukkan penurunan penggunaan energi harian dari 20,5 kWh menjadi 18,5 kWh, sehingga terjadi penghematan sebesar 9,8%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, sistem Smart Room Controller terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi energi dan mengurangi pemborosan penggunaan perangkat ruangan di kampus. Sistem ini memiliki potensi diterapkan secara lebih luas dan dikembangkan pada tahap berikutnya dengan integrasi algoritma kecerdasan buatan untuk optimasi penggunaan energi secara adaptif.
